Holst’s orchestral suite ’The Planets’ was premiered in 1918. The composer had originally conceived it as a piano duet, adding the familiar orchestration shortly after.

This unique organ performance is a based of the original keyboard score - which is in itself surprisingly close to the final version - with multi-tracked organ and percussion additions.
